Why an order stopped · 01 / 11Amazon’s rule

Amazon won’t ship this item to the buyer’s address

At checkout Amazon said this item can’t be shipped to the address on the order. This isn’t a fault on your side or ours — it’s Amazon’s rule. Some items can’t go to PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or certain states and territories, usually because of their size, hazardous-material rules or the seller’s own shipping limits.

What to do

  1. Let the buyer know the item can’t be delivered to that address.
  2. eBay doesn’t let you change the address on an order, so cancel it on eBay and choose that you can’t ship to the buyer’s address.
  3. The buyer can buy again with a street address.

Starting the order again with the same address won’t work.
